A shared world should belong to your group.
FilaMC brings trusted friends together around a world that isn’t tied to one person’s uptime.

For Minecraft: Java Edition. Legitimate game ownership required.

A world worth coming back to.Keep exploring

One world.
More than one host.

A familiar problem: the person who owns the world leaves, and everyone else has to leave too. Shared Worlds let another eligible, synchronized member host.

The usual single-player world

OWNER ONLINEFriends can join
OWNER OFFLINEWorld unavailable

The world stays on one machine. Play depends on that machine hosting.

An eligible, synchronized member may keep the world available to the group.

Shared Worlds / How it works

Share. Sync. Continue.

  1. Share.

Turn an eligible world into a Shared World and invite people you trust.

  2. Sync.

Members maintain synchronized world data, so the world is not tied to one computer.

  3. Continue.

When the original owner is unavailable, another eligible member can host the current world.

Shared Worlds are not permanent cloud hosting. Availability still depends on participating devices, synchronized data and a member who can host.

Our mission

Multiplayer shouldn’t require renting a server.

Small groups often want something between a single-player world that only exists when its owner is online and a permanently hosted server they have to pay for.

FilaMC occupies that middle ground. A world your group can share, with trusted members able to carry it forward. Your time together should decide when you play.

06What happens when the owner goes offline?

Another suitable trusted member with synchronized world data may host the Shared World. Continuing play depends on a participating member being available and eligible to host; availability is not guaranteed.
